715 South Clinton Avenue, The Burg
This was Pat Daddio's This and That Shop in my
Burg Day. This is a new picture of this taken a
few days ago.

Mack, this place was just 2 or 3 doors away from the gas station parking lot, right? If yes, then this was Mrs. Wirag's used bike shop a bit earlier than it was Daddio's.

She walked around the Burg finding bikes in the trash. The usual restoration "treatment" was a coat of aluminum paint on the rusted spokes and rims, a coat of green paint on the frame, maybe a new tire, if needed, some baling wire, and for 3, 4, or 5 bucks, you had a set of two wheels.

Hi SJ
Yes this was right near the car dealer that was a gas station once.
I was sort of the Radio version style of her bike repair then. I would find radios in folks garbage.
This was in the 1970s. Radio technology still had some issues.
Often the only thing wrong with
radios I "fixed" was a bad battery
wire.
