645 Franklin Street, The Burg

645 Franklin Street, The Burg
This is on the block where Franklin Street meets
Liberty Street. I do not know what this was in my
Burg day or what it is now or what it was in the
50s and 60s as it doesnt appear in my records.
But maybe someone will recognize it and even if they
don't , its a cool little commercial building:)

Hi Mack: The only buildings I recall on the corner of Franklin and Liberty are Ashbrands Hardware on one side and a dry cleaners on the other. Now that's going way back to the 30s and 40s. That's where I used to meet my girl friend when I lived on Franklin St.and she lived on Howell St. Then we'd take a walk through Franklin Park. May God Bless her and know I'm always thinking about her. Regards, Ralph

Hi Ralph:)
This is NOT on the corner of Liberty and Franklin, its in the
middle of the block.
You are correct Ashbrand Hardware
was on the corner of Liberty and
Franklin. It was still Ashbrand
Hardware in most of my Burg day
as well:)

According to the Case's Web Site, they have always been on Washington St.

It looks more like the corner of Vroom and Liberty, across from the cemetary. It used to be an ice cream shop some years ago.
