A Blog about the Chambersburg area of Trenton NJ. The Burg we all loved and miss. If you were from the Burg I hope many of the pictures and lists and comments under them from good folks bring back some nice memories. Villa Park, Franklin Park, South Trenton, and nearby Hamilton also mentioned. Use the search box atop the blog to find schools, churches, streets, stores, bars etc that you remember. Over 4000 posts and 3000 pics. Enjoy:)

I grew up across the street on Hamilton. Looked at these homes practically everyday. I remember looking out our second floor window on any cold winter night, checking out the progress of any impending snow storm... Possible snow day? Is it sticking?? Come on man!
Hi Noel:)
YES I did the same thing..
and all the old buildings in the
Burg looked very nice in snow..like
a Christmas Card.
The Blizzard of 1978 added an
entire week to our Christmas Vacation.. it was my favorite blizzard of all!!
I'm a tad older than you. My favorite blizzrad was in '60 or '61. I think I was in 4th or 5th grade at Carrol Robbins. We were off from school for a week! They still made us listen each day for "Trenton Public and Parochial schools will be... closed!" Sweet music to our ears from WTTM.
