Trenton High Forever:)
This blog highly objects to tearing down Trenton High.
I know someone posted that the cost of fixing the ole
place is big due to old plumbing, electric etc..
But I won't be reasoned with. Trenton High Forever !!
A Blog about the Chambersburg area of Trenton NJ. The Burg we all loved and miss. If you were from the Burg I hope many of the pictures and lists and comments under them from good folks bring back some nice memories. Villa Park, Franklin Park, South Trenton, and nearby Hamilton also mentioned. Use the search box atop the blog to find schools, churches, streets, stores, bars etc that you remember. Over 4000 posts and 3000 pics. Enjoy:)

I agree, Mack. It would be a travesty if they tore that grand old building down. Plumbing can be re-placed throughout. No one can tell me they can't strip that building down to the bare brick walls and rebuild from the INSIDE a heck of a lot cheaper than 1) demolishing 2) removing the demolished debris 3)starting all over again with a new building!
TOM GLOVER
That school is one of the few buildings remaining in Trenton that represents the glory of the city and especially the Chambersburg area. I attended in 1935,36 and 37 and it still looks as good as new.
Hi Tom & Ralph:)
An Amen to both your posts.
Although I never attended TCHS, I could see the school, across the football field, from my bedroom window on South Cook Ave. I used to catch the bus to high school in Princeton at the corner of Hamilton and Chambers. I have boasted on this building many times over the years...hopefully there are some true appreciators of history in positions of authority.
