Mack: The chef at Roman Hall for many years was John Baldasarri, the brother of Ed who owned the other hall and the doughnut shop on Hamilton Ave. Before that, he was the chef at the Italian Sportsman Club. As far as I'm concerned the best Italian food was at Chick and Nello's, the only restaurant I knew of that did'nt list the price of their food on the menu. Regards, Ralph
You guys are getting me hungry, the food on those menus are making my mouth water nearing lunch time at work. I'll have to settle for my cheese and tomato sandwich and veggie soup.
John Baldasarri was a great guy. I knew at the Italian Sportsman Club and at Roman Hall. I went there for lunch a lot. Also, wThe Mercer County Board of Realtors had a lot of Realtor parties there. Sold Ed a few homes in the burg.
