The inventor of Pork Roll is buried here.
This cemetery is across the street from where my sister Rose lived a short time ago, on Lalor St. I know George Case , Bus Saidt and many other well known Trenton people are buried there.
Hey Mike,
I have to mention that Avant-garde composer/movie composer, author, and inventor George Antheil, who died in 1959, was born in Trenton and is buried at the Riverview Cementery.
He lived in Paris and Germany and was friends with Ernest Hemingway, James Joyce, Ezra Pound, and Eric Satie.
He and hot babe actress Hedy Lamarr invented and patented the idea of "secret communication system" in 1941.
The idea was ahead of it's time and was not implemented until 1962 when it was used by the UR military ships during a blockade of Cuba.
Lamarr's and Antheil's frequency-hopping idea serves as a basis for modern spread-spectrum communication technology, such as COFDM used in WiFi network connections and CDMA used in some cordless and wireless telephones.
