Jacks.
The Game of Jacks. I don't know the rules to it
or if different folks had different rules to it.
I remember the spikes were all metal and none were
colored like those in this picture.
I mention it because I often saw it played back in
the day. Thank you for reminding me of this Ida:)

You would throw the Jack's on the ground, then you throw the rubber ball up in the air. You would collect all the Jacks with one hand and catch the ball after one bounce. The one collecting the most Jacks' would be the winner.
