Hi Mack: That looks like the corner of Hamilton and Revere Ave. Jake Miller, the manager of the Schroths baseball team for many years, lived three doors from the corner. Further down the street was the office of Dr. Michael Larkin, my wife's doctor when my son was born. The area still looks very nice after all these years. Regards, Ralph

Ralph, the picture was taken from the corner of Division and Hamilton. Looking toward St Francis Hospital. The second house (white) is 452. That's where I grew up. The other corner is Monmouth. Great picture Mack! Really takes me back. How old is it??

Hi There Ralph & Noel:)
Noel you are correct about the
picture, and it is from Feb 2008.
Ralph is correct most of the time
but even Babe Ruth didnt everything
over the fence:)

Digger: Because your comment does
not mention anything SPECIFIC about
the blog and links to a commercial
site, I must DELETE it. If you
really are a real person and not
a computer progammed bot just finding links, please come back as
anonymous or a non-commercial site
name:)

Holy Mackeral! I really got that wrong. I was looking for the firehouse that was at Hamilton and Anderson. I could'nt see it so I thought that was the part of Hamilton toward Revere, See what old age does to you. Sorry

I grew up on this block of Hamilton Ave altough our house is not seen in the picture. Mack, if you can get a snap of 471 and post it I would be thrilled to see the old place. :)
