Hi Mack: My cousin Joe Salvatore worked at Griffiths for years. When the business was sold he was well rewarded. He also worked with us at the Hamilton Bowling Lanes. His son Gary, was a district manager for Sears Roebucks and stll lives in the area.
Mack, The three Griffith Electric trucks are all Chevrolets. The two bookends are a style that was produced from 1948 through 1953. The center truck is a style that lasted from 1941 to 1947. It is hard to pinpoint the exact years, because the changes are minor and the photo is too small.
