The First Block of Franklin Street in The Fall, The Burg
Hamilton Avenue right nearby. I love many of these street
scene pictures. They do not get nearly as many comments as
posts on specific places and thats fine. But when I click
many of them and they fill the screen, they become "walkable":)
God Bless The Old Burg:)

Hi Mack: You showed a picture of our house at 235 Franklin St. We lived there during the 30s and 40s and I believe the street looks better now than it did then. There was a very good restaurant at the corner of Franklin and Hamilton, I can"t remember the name but they were known for seafood. Regards, Ralph

Choquetes, not sure of spelling, was on that corner for a number of years before being purchased by the Cotrell family. Not sure who owns it now. I had family and many friends on that block of Franklin including the Baldassari;s, Minichellis's, Capanille's, and DiDonato's.
