Revere Avenue on a Fall Day, Villa Park
Some of favorite pictures are of streetscapes, when
combined with the seasons. Click this picture and
fill your screen with Revere Avenue:)
A Blog about the Chambersburg area of Trenton NJ. The Burg we all loved and miss. If you were from the Burg I hope many of the pictures and lists and comments under them from good folks bring back some nice memories. Villa Park, Franklin Park, South Trenton, and nearby Hamilton also mentioned. Use the search box atop the blog to find schools, churches, streets, stores, bars etc that you remember. Over 4000 posts and 3000 pics. Enjoy:)

Mack, our old house is on the right side, this walking towards the old WaWa, seems like yesterday.
Hi JoeZ:)
I found this going thru old
files not related to the blog.
This is from the fall of 2007
but could be from 1977 as little
has changed. When I find pics like this for a blog thats really all about Memory Lane, I go Ape GaGa!!
AND when I saw your home in the picture I posted it immediately.
Thanks again Mack. Those pictures of Revere Ave flooding, when we lived there in the late 70's and 80's, everytime a heavy downpour came our corner got flooded and I had to mop the basement.
Hi guys: I lived on Bert Ave. for 12 years and believe me I hung around Revere Ave. most of the time. The store on the corner of Revere and Roebling was our hangout. It changed hands several times, the last I remember it was owned by Fausti's. The bus stopped at that corner and the driver was Victor Anselmi's dad. Victor lived on Commonwealth Ave. and passed away this week at 90 years old. God bless him.
