Wow, Nick and Lee were young there. I see Tommy Chiacchio with a drink in his hand. Thank you for the pictures. You had a hard time getting in here on weekends.
Folks came from all other for the food!
Hi Mack: In my day at Hudson Beer Garden,Tommy Chiacchio's father was behind the bar mostly. He had very bad eyes and had to strain to see the dollar bills. His younger brother "Snake"was also tending bar.His mother and sister Rose were in the kitchen. Tommy Chiacchio's two buddies were Frankie Bodner and Jimmy DeLorenzo. I still would like to know if Nick Tomasulo was related to Mike Tomasulo.
Hi Ralph:)
There were 2 Mike Tomasulo's
in my directory
One on 611 Roebling and one
on 824 Melrose Avenue.
The one on Melrose Avenue was
Nick's Brother.
Mike from Melrose was our mailman on South Cook for as long as I can remember.
Hi Bill K: Your mailman before Mike Tomasula on So. Cook Ave was my brother Lou. He delivered around there for years, your parents may remember him.
Ralph:
Is this young Tommy or his Father?
Hi Joe: That's a picture of young Tommy. His father's name was Gaetano and Tommy more or less ran the place after his father passed away
