Once upon a time this was the New Colonial Bakery.
I think they made the best rolls back in the day.
It is now part of Italian Peoples Bakery and they
also have great rolls amongst other fine items.

I have to agree, loved the small dinner torpedo rolls.
Hi JoeZ: The owner of New Colonial lived in that house next door to the bakery. He was married to our neighbor on Bert Ave., the Govenetti girl. The other Govenetti girl was Virgina Conti, remember her on the school board
Colonial Bakery was the place to stop to get some late night hot rolls. . .
Unless it was Saturday. Then it was late night hot bagels from Kramer's.
