The Bridge, Washington Crossing, Hopewell
A sight along the pretty Route 29 as you reach
Washington's Crossing State Park. There was an
Ice Cream Place around here I think:)
UPDATE:
My Dad adds:)

Mike, You might have forgot...Our family (Grandmon, Granddad,
Aunt Joyce and Aunt Ethel) lived here in 1936 when I was born,
right across the street from the old "Tally Ho" I think it was
a bar and general store then. I was born in Mercer Hospital.
We lived in the white house up on the hill, right across from
the Tally Ho.

Hi Dad:)
I will add that to the post:)
Mack,
Your dad's comment triggered a recollection about something my aunt told me several decades ago. I went back and looked and found my mother's uncle (Richard Yard) listed as living on River Road in Washington Crossing NJ in 1930 with his wife and child. His in-laws were named Rowe and are listed just before him on the same enumerator's page. His father-in-law is listed as a boarding house proprieter. I don't know if they were still living there in 1936 but my aunt indicated that the family ran the "Washington Hotel" I imagine it was somewhere in the area of Washington Crossing.
