819 Chestnut Avenue, The Burg
Once upon a time this was Joe Rago's Shoe Repair
according to my records. This is a new picture
I took a few days ago:)

This was my Grandfathers shoe repair shop. U.Frank Rago. He died
before I was born. My great Uncle Jimmy his brother ran the shop
after that. My grandmother lived there and rented apts out above
the store, which became a beauty salon and then my wife's aunts
opened up a candy store, Sweet Creations. But my Grandmother
Teresita Rago was a dressmaker all along. She made dresses for
the ladies of the Burg.
