Point Pleasant, NJ

Point Pleasant, NJ
If you were not going to SeaSide Heights or Metedeconk or AC
or Wildwood you might go to Point Pleasant.
I remember the waves were a little big bigger here than the
more southern shore areas. Nice little boardwalk, beautiful
beach. If you were going down the shore, Point Pleasant was
pretty cool:)

Use to take the boys when they were little to Jenkinson's Pier, they loved the place. Less crowded than Seaside. Good fishing boats out of the marina, spent many a day fluke fishing and drinking ice cold beer.

Great town, the beaches were smaller as was the boardwalk compared to Seaside Heights. Nice atomsphere though, I had a lot of great summers at Point Pleasant. My friend's grandmother had a house down their. When I was teenager, I spent many a summer at Point Pleasant.

I remember when you went swimming though, just off to the left of Jenkinson's Restraunt on their beach. You had to be careful, because the inlet was right their and there was a strong current going out into the ocean.
