The site of the old Roebling School and the Boys' Club, "A Red Feather" activity, IIRC.

I believe Bob Adams lived in one of those homes across the park on Orange.

You can see Sax's old house on Beatty Street from here but folks were on the porch so I didnt take
a pic of that:)

Let me clarify the previous comment. Homes in this pic are
Orange Street. NOT IN THE PICTURE
are Beatty Street homes one of which was once Sax's home.

Your right Mac, it couldn't be my old house on Beatty in the current picture....there are no chickens roosting on the porch!!!!Si???

Roebling School my old alma mater..loved it..only had to walk across the street. Spent all my free time at the Boys Club after the school closed..learned how to play pinochle on the front steps from the older guys!

SJBill...Billy and Bobby Adams lived in the middle of the block. Bobby later married Arlene Anselmi and they moved to Beatty at Orange. Billy married Sheila and moved into the Township, he's a dietician chef at Fuld Hospital (when he was laid off from the Mill, he went to Culinary School). Bobby relocated to the Pittsburg area with the Mill, until he retired. He and Arlene also live in the Towship now.My husband grew up with the Adams boys, and they were in our wedding when we got married. We are all still friends after all these years.
Mack...last time I did an appraisal there, I had to come back to take the "street scene" picture, due to the gangbangers. They saw a woman drive by with a camera, I got out of there quick.

Barb,

If/when you speak to Bob, please give him my best. It's been quite a while. My thanks!

Me, I'm currently 3000 miles out of state.
