A Blog about the Chambersburg area of Trenton NJ. The Burg we all loved and miss. If you were from the Burg I hope many of the pictures and lists and comments under them from good folks bring back some nice memories. Villa Park, Franklin Park, South Trenton, and nearby Hamilton also mentioned. Use the search box atop the blog to find schools, churches, streets, stores, bars etc that you remember. Over 4000 posts and 3000 pics. Enjoy:)

Mack...do I remember a small Acme nearby?
There was an A&P at 2110 South Broad. There may have been an Acme
but its not in my records:)
My aunt worked at the A&P on S. Broad for a number of years.
I know that the grouping where Marburn Curtains is located was originally ab Acme, but I thought that Bob Lang's was an Acme many years before. Joe Z...you worked in that area, do you remember?
There was an Acme across from Holy Angels, IIRC, maybe the 1700 or 1800 block. It was done up in the classic company colors.
There was a near carbon-copy appearing store on Stockton St. in Hightstown.
I think Bob Lang's was down S. Broad a bit.
I think that was Bob Lang's, Frank's was at 1915 So.Broad St. and I remember passing it everytime I went to work.
Joe Z...nice new look, how handsome, with your new hairstyle and bright orange shirt. I hope Rosie took my advise and bought some lingerie to relax in. OOOoo, maybe that's why you look so happy.
Barb, thank you for your compliment. Picture from a cruise over a year ago, no new undies for Roe, she makes me smile the year around. You are a doll for the thoughts.
