There used to be a line of maple trees down that part of the street. One that was up hte street near SteveB's place had a big hole in it, in which we found empty bottles and stuff.
I knew few folks on this block. The Rosetti's lived at the extreme end of the block across from Paramount Bakery.
At the extreme left is the Calvary Baptist Church Sunday School building.
Where this pic was taken was Pat Pone's fireplug, for which he had the "key," right Barb? ;-)
Yup, that's my street, lived at 310, and right on the corner of Genesee & Roebling used the be the office for Abeline Exterminators, and the lady who ran the office was Alice, the tree with the hole was right in front of my house, I remember too in the summer, roping off the street, the 200 block and Pat would turn the fireplug on for us kids to cool off...

Mack and Steve, many of the home you have shown, I recall from doing the roofs.
One of the names on your 300 Genesee list was "Teszla." Al Teszla was a pretty good basketball player. I believe hee played varsity from Trenton Catholic.
you got that right Bill, Al Tezsla not only played varsity at TC but on the LaSalle College Team, he became an NJ State Trooper and went up in the ranks and has since retired..
Bill, your neighbors the Szabos were also in the roofing game, Szabo bacsi used to work with Mr Alex Molnar who lived in the 900 block of S Clinton, in the house that was all shot up in that gun battle with the police many years ago... do you recall that incident
We had a Mrs Molnar who ran
Liberty Deli across the street from us back in the day:)
Mack the one and the same Molnar's my mom used to help make the fresh kolbasz every wednesday... and as a kid I worked in the store stocking shelves, the first store was in the row of "garages" on Liberty, then they built the new store on the corner of Liberty and Brown, Im sure you remember Mrs Molnars daughter and son in law, Betty and Gus LiCari... Betty died a few years ago and Gus is in Florida
