A Blog about the Chambersburg area of Trenton NJ. The Burg we all loved and miss. If you were from the Burg I hope many of the pictures and lists and comments under them from good folks bring back some nice memories. Villa Park, Franklin Park, South Trenton, and nearby Hamilton also mentioned. Use the search box atop the blog to find schools, churches, streets, stores, bars etc that you remember. Over 4000 posts and 3000 pics. Enjoy:)

Mack the "Young Turk Days". Bring back those memories. Did you ever do appraisal work with Barb P. When I lived in Trenton, I worked for NJM and later Selective Insurance Co. Enjoyed the work very much.
Dude, you were the bomb!
I didnt work with Barb but she
was one of the office gang on
South Broad Street in the Burg.
Great old days:)
Joe Z...Mack's dad Ed, wrote the book on performing appraisals (literally. Ed was my mentor, and taught me all he knew (boundless information) about appraising Historic Homes, a very specialized field, not for the faint of heart.
Ed's business was across the street from where I grew up, and it was always great to stop in, have a soda, rummage thru the old MLS books, pick Ed's brain, joke with Dave and Mike, have a cig with Joe the Whip and see the old neighborhood. I miss those times.
Did you work with Joe Lazlo at Selective Insurance? He was my uncle and our insurance man.
No Barb, did not know Joe Lazlo, I worked out of the Hamilton Office on Route 130 in the claims department. I handled auto and injury and then became a litigation examiner. I did my initial adjusting work at NJM.
