Clint-Mott Tavern was a great corner bar and had good food..you could enter from the Mott side. I played there a few times with a friend Ralph Palmieri(??)guitar player..lived in Villa Park. Went to Clint-Mott as a child with my parents quite a bit.

Saxman: I use to catch a trio playing in Bordentown at the Sheraton on 130. Jack Jonah Trio, do you remember them. Roe also remembers hearing a guy sing like Sinatra playing in Trenton, I can't recall the club any hints?

Z...I do remember Jack Jonah..can't remember what he played..piano, trumpet, maybe?..Pass probably knows this one. The only Sinatra-type I remember was out at Giovi's back then.

Thanks Sax, he played the trumpet and Roe remembers the Sinatra singer, I thing she said he use to sing at the old Murphy's Chuckwagon on Olden Ave.

I worked with the brother, Jimmy Bosso, of the owner, Joe, of the Clin-Mott. Jimmy was a wire drawer at Cresent Wire. good people. good steamers, liguine and clam sauce and hard shell crabs with beer. red checkered table cloths and working class clientele.first place I had long-neck clams.
