The Old Trenton Railroad Station

This was the old Trenton Railroad Station from a 1906 postcard.
It was "renovated" in 1972 according to NJ Transit
They are rebuilding it again now costs over 50 million dollars.
I remember it looking like this when I was very young:))

You could pick out your steak..they where a greenish color from the mold of being aged downstairs...but after they where grilled, tasted like heaven-sent!

Down Clinton toward the circle, right after the bridge was a smokey little bar..think it was the Greenwood Bar...great place for real music...musician hang-out especially after hours...mostly Black, but totally jammin'!

Sax, we used to go to the Fantasy Lounge on Clinton, great jukebox R&B to die for, good live entertainment, and they didn't seem to notice we weren't Black. Was the smokey little bar the Stagecoach?

Barb P... I seem to remember the StageCoach being up further across from the train station main terminal..next to, or part of, a hotel that was on the corner..
