I remember this way back as the Fulton Soldiers and Sailors Club, but could be wrong.

I played on the little league team sponsored by the Fulton S&S Club.

Reminds me... Shouldn't there be a picture of the venerable Chambersburg Little League facility in Columbus Park?

There was a famous lady, Mrs Ford, who supported the little league. I think they named the field after her later on.

the words COLUMBUS PARK :)
Thank you for mentioning and
giving credit to Mrs Ford:)

Also SEARCH BLOG write in
227 Fulton ..that is where the
Fulton Soldiers&Sailors Club was
in the 50s.
It may have been somewhere else

My Uncle Zip (Guy "Zip" Zeppadoro - founder of Zip's Steak House) spent a fair amount of time there, and yes, I remember him calling it "the Soldiers and Sailors Club."
