Hi Joe:)
I have heard tons of comments about this place..enough for me to consider it a Burg legend of its day:)

Lavinthal's was the place to get shoes in Trenton. Our whole family got shoes from there. Much like Carella's became in later years in Mercerville.

Does anyone remember the shoe store on Clinton across from i think Elmer or Butler. The name Sam's rings a bell to me but not sure.

They had a big wooden box that you put your feet into and they would X-Ray your feet. We thought it was so cool, but now I know why my feet still glow in the dark. Joe Z you look so good, how is your lady, all is well, I hope. Hi Mike!, Hi David!, Hi Ed, I've been away too long, missed all of you. please don't sue me for non-support. Cancer free, livin' large, God is good.
