South Clinton Avenue Brick Rows On a Summer Sunny Day, The Burg
South Clinton Avenue Brick Rows On a Summer Sunny Day, The Burg
This is a picture I got on a Burg picture walk last summer.
Its the 800 Block of South Clinton Avenue.
Click on it and fill your screen with South Clinton Avenue in
the Burg:)
UPDATE:
SJBill adds...
Looks as though this was taken directly in front of our old
house at #811. That's Dinger Brothers iron you're looking at,
Mack.I saw that view for the first 17 years of my life.
Way back when, the sidewalks were mostly red brick, put down
in a herring-bone pattern. In some places there were large
sized pavers made of a gray of sandstone. The old curb was
and still is made of the same quarried material. You
remember the sidewalks after spending lots of time chopping
ice from them in the Winter.
