That Building At Metedeconk

That Building At Metedeconk
Many Burg folks would go down the shore to Metedeconk for
a day of fun in the sun and perhaps crabbing on the dock.
We went to Metedeconk many times as a family when I was a
Burg kid. If it rained or you wanted some shade, you could
sit on the rocking chairs on the big covered porch of this
building. Remember?

UPDATE:
Tom Pass adds...
We were there most Sundays in 1950's. Fond memories
particularly cooking breakfast on the beach or pepper and
egg sandwiches for lunch.

Hi Mack!

We are in the process of creating a documentary about "Burger Bits". We have compiled insignificant amount of interview footage on the lifestyle of Chambersburg residents with an emphasis on their dress, language,
and style. Many of these interviews were conducted at Papa's Tomato Pie Restaurant with the cooperation and support of our friend the owner Nick. We are in need of photos and Super 8 films from that era. We would love to talk to you about cooperating with us on this documentary if you interested.
