Mack: When I was growing up at every Catholic War Veterans Post picnics quoits were played. Every summer picnic that companies threw quoit games were there and horse shoes also.

Same here, every picnic we went to the folks played quiots.
Washington Crossing, Italian American Sportsman Club, An Uncle's Yard. etc:)
in the reading / allentown / bethlehem, pa areas, the folks use rubber quiots!!!!...NOT trenton-style steel...BOOOOO!!!!
