Doctor Frank Camp, Saint Francis Hospital
Doctor Frank A. Camp, Lt. Col. USAF (Ret.)was born in
Rochester, NY, he graduated from Aquinas Institute in
Rochester, Holy Cross College in Worcester Ma, and
Syracuse University Medical School in Syracuse, NY.
Dr. Camp did his surgical residency at E. J. Meyer
Hospital in Buffalo, NY where his two daughters,
Kathryn and Jennifer were born and finished his
medical training in Cardio Vascular Surgery at Barnes
Hospital in St. Louis, MO where his son Jonathan was
born. Dr. Camp served in the USAF and proudly served
3 tours in Viet-Nam where he worked in civilian
hospitals doing reconstructive surgery primarily on
children wounded by the war. Dr. Camp was chief of
Cardio Vascular Thoracic Surgery at Andrews Air force
Base in Washington DC where he also served as President
Richard M. Nixon's private physician and later served
as Chief of Surgery at St. Francis Medical Center in
Trenton, NJ. In 1977 Dr. Camp, moved his family to
Long Beach Island and started a private practice out
of their summer home. Son of the late Alphonse and
Sarah Patti Camp he was one of 9 brothers and sisters.
