HI MAC.... WE LIVED NEAR THE END OF THIS BLOCK IN THE 1940'S. WE WERE SURPRISED TO SEE THAT PETE GALFETTI, WHO WAS NEIGHBOR ON MOTT STREET IN THE 20'S ALSO LIVED HERE. PETE RAISED PIGEONS ALL HIS LIFE AND WON MANY AWARDS. THERE ALSO WERE OTHERS FROM MOTT STREET LIVING HERE. BEST REGARDS.
I grew up in the 300 block and of course went to St Stephen's church and school...
