367 Hamilton Avenue, The Burg
Once upon a time this was the office of Doctor Angelo
Migliori (with wife Grace here too) according to my
records:)
A Blog about the Chambersburg area of Trenton NJ. The Burg we all loved and miss. If you were from the Burg I hope many of the pictures and lists and comments under them from good folks bring back some nice memories. Villa Park, Franklin Park, South Trenton, and nearby Hamilton also mentioned. Use the search box atop the blog to find schools, churches, streets, stores, bars etc that you remember. Over 4000 posts and 3000 pics. Enjoy:)

Hi Mac: Dr. Migliori was a good friend, he was just one of the guys and was nicknamed "Scrappy" among his Chambersburg pals. He got very close to my brother "Chuck" and they cosidered teaming up as doctors. His wife Grace was a big help in his practice. My brother decided to go on his own and they both were very active at St. Francis Hospital. Best Regards.
Hi Ralph:)
I like "scrappy" as a name..
very BURG:)
I just popped into St Francis
and wanted to get a soda at the
cafateria on the first floor...
well it was there in the 70s..
but its not there now:)
Too bad the place is up for sale. This was one of the nice buildings on Hamilton.
The son, John Migliori, was a classmate of mine. We were mejmbers of the THS Key Club, that held meetings at the old YMCA at S. Clinton and E. State. After meetings we went to the pool room and shot a few rounds.
We weven did state Key Club convention in Atlantic City. High school kids - away from home for the first time!
How about dropping water filled paper bags dropped from 6 or 7 stories down to the boardwalk & Smoking Rum-Soaked Crooks. Eating pizza and cheesteaks.
Life as it should be! ;-)
I belive after THS, John went to Dartmouth to study medicine.
I guess he too survived the 'Burg.
