Where Lyndale Avenue Meets Liberty Street, Villa Park
On a late summer afternoon under clear blue skies.
A Blog about the Chambersburg area of Trenton NJ. The Burg we all loved and miss. If you were from the Burg I hope many of the pictures and lists and comments under them from good folks bring back some nice memories. Villa Park, Franklin Park, South Trenton, and nearby Hamilton also mentioned. Use the search box atop the blog to find schools, churches, streets, stores, bars etc that you remember. Over 4000 posts and 3000 pics. Enjoy:)

Hi Mack; Another beautiful street in Villa Park. I remember when certain parts of Ardmore Avenue had plants in the middle of the roadway. On our block alone were Chief of Police, O'Rourke, Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, William Deardon and Lt. Lithgo and also many teachers from Trenton High. The area was made up of many dignittares who maintained their properties very well. It was a shame the Lucarellas were not in a position to do likewise. The great depression years resulted in many others losing their homes thru foreclosures.
Villa Park still looks great
in many places:)
