Hi Mack: We also lived in an apt over a garage on Chestnut Ave. over looking Chestnut Park. We called it the Deafies then, because it was where the school for the deaf was located at one time. That was before the ball field was built. We walked across the park many times to get to the Park Theatre and places on Kent St. We also had a little baby then and my wife made good use of the park. Regards
