I was reading Tom Glover's great blog and began to
remember Dunhams at Independence Mall had a Hair Salon between
2 sections of it and as you passed by you could smell the hair
products being used.
Remember the White Horse Bowling Lanes did not have automatic
scoring but Hamilton Bowling Lanes did?
Remember when that WTTM DJ (Bo ?) locked himself inside the
studio and played some country song over and over again protesting
high gas prices ("Cheaper crude or no more food"). And the next
day the police pointed out that the thing was a radio station stunt
and that the DJ was never really locked in the booth?
Remember Virginia Conti who was a member of the School Board?
For all you Trenton High 1980 folks: Remember Kenny Ng wearing
a shirt that had Christmas Lights on it..that gadget was cool:)
Noel Vento pointed out and I remembered that they used to decorate
the Hamilton Avenue business area near Trenton High for Christmas
each year, that was nice:)

Kenny Ng was a fairly good clarinet player in band when I was band director at THS. Smart but zany young man. Insisted on running full bore up and down the steps to 3rd floor of A building.
Hi Tom:)
YES Kenny Running between classes
was part of life and is mentioned
somewhere in the 1980 yearbook:)
Remember when President Jimmy Carter came to the Burg in 1976?
