A Creek on Cedar Lane, Hamilton.
This was a cool place to go when we were kids long ago.
As adults we drive by it and think nothing of it but in
the kid imagination it was great. Water ! Tadpoles !

Most of the kid action took place at the opposite stretch of this "creek" or drainage ditch, by a small pool near an open culvert. During the summer there were lots of tadpoles in the pool, and we heard rumor of snakes -- never saw one -- but we were ready for them!
I have no idea of the official name of this sometimes stream, but we kids called it "P!ssy Creek." Maybe Tom Glover's generation passed the name down to us, but I kind of think we named it so.
i think(?) the name pissy creek was derived from assinpink creek many years ago. you know our trenton ancestors, always making things simple :)
the pissy creek moniker is more true to life.
I remember that creek as P!ssy Creek also..I once fell into it! Not very deep, but I did get wet! Too funny...when I saw the picture, I relayed the above story to my now teenaged daughter.
