The corner of South Clinton Avenue and Hudson Street.
As it appears now. This picture taken a few days ago.
A Blog about the Chambersburg area of Trenton NJ. The Burg we all loved and miss. If you were from the Burg I hope many of the pictures and lists and comments under them from good folks bring back some nice memories. Villa Park, Franklin Park, South Trenton, and nearby Hamilton also mentioned. Use the search box atop the blog to find schools, churches, streets, stores, bars etc that you remember. Over 4000 posts and 3000 pics. Enjoy:)

This place is pretty much the way it used to look except the number of cars present, and they are all for sale.
The concrete sign-post used to have the big "American" logo sign atop it (after the Amoco sign was removed).
Anyone remember the pulling of the cobblestones and the paving the length of S. Clinton Ave? (I guess the cobblestones were placed after the trolley tracks were removed). Looks as though the street is in worse shape now than before the change.
Isn't that the site of the infamous "Sure Shot" used car dealership?
Mack, Isn't this the location of the business that sold the Chevrolet Impala to the two snipers that were indiscrimaninately shooting people in Maryland, Virginia and other places near route 95. They were a father and son who were apprehended at a truck stop.
It was also Bodnar's Amoco, years ago.
