Once upon a time this was Thiftway Food Store.

I delivered papers to the apartment upstairs and on
very cold days would warm up in that hall for a few
minutes before continuing my route.
This place was about 7 blocks from my house and my
Mom and Grandma went here often long ago:)

The Triftway, only 1 block from our old house, man I think I went to that store every other day for lunchmeat or milk when the kids were small. Good memories.
Often pronounced as:
THRIFFWAY
by me and many others.
The root of that may be the missing
middle T sound when we said
Trenton.
Yes Mack, that's the missing T from Tren-in. All of those T's are with the missing other sock, after you do the laundry.
