I think that 1964 was Mister Halbert's final year? When I finally arrived at TCHS in 1965, William Walker had taken over with Mister Weisberg as VP. Mister Pontani was doing guidance and he was a pretty nice fellow. Central was a huge school back then I believe our class had over 1,000 students graduating each year. Coming from a small school I think I spent my first month with a map trying to get around. Did you have Mister Weisberg? He had a unique way of determining punishment; if a kid got caught with a deck of cards, he had them cut the deck, face cards were worth 10 days of detention. What a wonderful zoo it was!

I KNEW TOBY PONTANI WELL IN HIS YOUNGER DAYS AND FIGURED HE WOULD DO SOMETHING SPECIAL AS HE GOT OLDER. DAVE WEISBERG WAS AN AMAZING SOCCER COACH AND MADE TRENTON HIGH ONE OF THE OUTSTANDING SCHOOL SOCCER TEAMS IN THE NATION. REGARDS
