Yes we shopped here every week. This store closed down in the summer 1978 and we had to go to the Liberty Street Thriftway. It was only a few blocks farther but that seemed like a long way.
HI MAC...THERE WAS A SCHOOL THERE, I BELIEVE IT WAS HEWITT, WHEN WE MOVED TP FRANKLIN ST. IN 1937. THEN CAME THE SUPER MARKET AND FINALLY A STATE OFFICE BUILDING. SO THAT LOCATION HAS SEEN MANY CHANGES THROUGH THE YEARS. BEST REGARDS.
