A "Greatest Hits" Week Next Week
Next week on the Burg Blog will be a "Greatest Hits" week.
I note the blog continues to get from like 160 to 250 hits
most days and I thank my readers. We have been doing this
blog since November 2008. Its fun to walk down memory lane

THANKS MAC FOR ALL YOUR EFFORTS TO SHOW CHAMBERSBURG AT A TIME WHEN WE ALL FELT LIKE ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY. THE BURG WAS A LARGE PART OF THE CITY AND CONTRIBUTED PEOPLE WHO WENT ON TO BECOME AN IMPORTANT PART OF THIS NATION, LIKE HAVING 2 MEMBERS ON THE UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT AND OTHERS WHO EXCELED IN OTHER FIELDS. I think the old Burg felt like one big happy family because so many big families were there and connected to each other through marriage or business or societies, it sorta WAS a big family.
