Maury Robinson, Hamilton Avenue, 1970s, The Burg

Maury Robinson, Hamilton Avenue, 1970s, The Burg It looked just like this in my Burg era too. A place to get nice suits and things. Loved this area especially in the Christmas seasons of long ago. Thank you for this nice picture Tom Tighue and God Bless The Old Burg :)

If I'm not mistaken, I think Maury Robinson was still on South Broad St in 1963. He moved his store to Hamilton Ave in early 1970.

Your Aunt Ann, just pass recently was a good friend of my Aunt Rae Battiste who lived at 30 Mott St. Suzy was my age and controlled That end of Mott St for a long Time. Joe, before my Father worked for the Trenton Times, which wasn't long, he worked for GM (Eastern Aircraft)were he met my Mother. He worked for the Trentonian (30yrs) until he retired in 1976. He passed away in 1981. My cousin Johnny Wow Wow was my Aunt Jenny Mercurio"s son (My Fathers Sister). my Grandfather was a Lamplighter and after, he worked at the Lincoln Theater. My Uncle Tony was the iceman in the burg !
