HI MAC....DR. ANGELO MIGLIORI, WHO WAS CALLED SCRAPPY BY HIS FRIENDS IN THE BURG, WAS ONE OF THE OUTSTANDING DOCTORS IN THE AREA. HE AND MY BROTHER DR. (CHUCK) THOUGHT ABOUT TEAMING UP BUT DECIDED TO OPEN SEPERATE OFFICES, THEY, ALONG WITH DR. JOE BRENNA WERE MEMBERS OF THE TRENTON COUNTRY CLUB AND WOULD SING "OH MARIE" IN ITALIAN TO REMIND THEM THERE WERE ITALIAN DOCTORS AS MEMBERS. SCRAPPY'S WIFE WAS ALSO A BIG HELP TO HIM. REGARDS
Heres more about Dr Angelo Migliori...Born in Trenton Mr. Migliori retired in 1987 after 15 years as a Trenton area family practitioner and cardiologist. He attended Trenton public schools, Temple University and Hahnemann Medical College, where he was recently honored for 50 years of distinguished medical service. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. His medical practice was in Chambersburg and he was affiliated with St. Francis Medical Center for 40 years. He was a member and past president of the Trenton Board of Education. He cared for the Poor Clare Nuns and dedicated many hours to St. Michael's Orphanage and other Catholic charities. He was a member of the American Medical Association, Mercer County Medical Societies and American College of Cardiology. He was a founding member of Trenton Ski Club and a member of Trenton Country Club. Son of the late Giacinto and Rose Maurio Migliori and brother of the late Benjamin Migliori :)
