Junior Four, A Grand Street View
My favorite school of all my Burg days. I attended here from
September 1974 to June of 1977. Mr. Sam Cortina was the
Principal:)
A Blog about the Chambersburg area of Trenton NJ. The Burg we all loved and miss. If you were from the Burg I hope many of the pictures and lists and comments under them from good folks bring back some nice memories. Villa Park, Franklin Park, South Trenton, and nearby Hamilton also mentioned. Use the search box atop the blog to find schools, churches, streets, stores, bars etc that you remember. Over 4000 posts and 3000 pics. Enjoy:)

HI MAC...JUNIOR 4 WAS ALSO THE SCHOOL THAT GOT ME INTERESTED INTO SCHOOL SPORTS DURING 1932 33 AND 34.I I PLAYED ON THE BASEBALL TEAM AND IN 1936 WAS CHOSEN TO PLAY WITH THE SCHROTHS IN THE AMERICAN LEGION TOURNAMENTS. MISS DUNN WAS THE PRINCIPAL THEN AND THEY LATER NAMED THE SCHOOL AFTER HER. THE LONG WALK FROM VILLA PARK KEPT US IN SHAPE. BEST REGARDS.
Hi Ralph:)
Great days great school :))))
Ralph, I did the opposite walk, from Broad and Anderson to St Athony's HS on Kuser (no school busses for Immaculate, just shoe leather express). This is where we used to line up for the pool in the summer. Only so many got in, so you had to get there early or they turned you away.
