The Old Black Bridge, Klockner Road, Hamilton

The Old Black Bridge, Klockner Road, Hamilton

Many Burg folks might remember this. Many think it was
scary looking. I thought it was kinda cool looking.
For those who have been away many years, this thing
was torn down and replaced:)

The Black Bridge was in the area of the new train station in Hamilton.

I think it was called the Bakers Basin bridge. It was pretty scary for a new driver to navigate it

Especially if you were driving a manual transmission vehicle!!

I remember it. Close to Congoleum. There was one just like it, or very similar,
over the tracks going from the Barlow Circle to the Greenwood Circle.
I recall it was a brick / stone surface and some kind of pipes going up over the sides. There's one over the tracks on Olden Avenue that still remains. ~wj2w
