Park Theater Plates

Park Theater Plates

The Park Theatre where Anderson Street and Washington Street
meet gave out plates as promotion to get folks to come see
its movies. Here are some of those plates. Thank you so
much for this picture Pat Taylor Lovaleski Pollack :)

GOOD OLD PARK THEATRE. RIGHT IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND THE ADMISSION WAS 10 CENTS AND YOU GOT DINNERWARE AND NICE OTHER THINGS WITH YOUR ADMISSION. NOW DON'T TELL ANYONE THAT THE OLDEN DAYS WERE NOT BETTER. REGARDS.

I wish I could find the set that I collected for my mother. We would also bring sandwiches to the Saturday matinee and enjoy a great peppers and egg delight during the serial.

I remember going there a few times with my grandmother, Theresa and they gave out what we now call depression glass. Worth quite a bit in today's market. Go figure!
