I remember going out Chambers to a place called "White Electronics" and if you had a TV or radio tube or needed a transistor to solder in they could get it. It seemed they carried every electronic part under the sun back then.

Hi Skip. I find a White Radio Repair on 922 South Clinton in both my 1957 and 1963 Trenton City Directories. This may be the place you are referring to. Maybe it moved to Chambers Street later on?:)

Mack: My father's friend owned Pianowski's TV Repair on Second St. in the late 50's and early 60's. I can still remember him coming out with his big repair box and every type of tube you can imagine.

No Mack, that was it. It was on South Clinton. My fingers were headed south when my memory was going North.

My buddy was an electronics tech and he didn't drive, it was an amazing place and I don't think they ever let him down.

Dad worked at GE back around 1955 and our TV was always "on the Fritz" so another GE employee (Gordon), was always out to fix the set. Loyal to the core; "Get an RCA, that's what I have". He made a small fortune fixing GE sets.
