The Bank, Broad Street & Liberty Street, The Burg

The Bank, Broad Street & Liberty Street, The Burg
This was New Jersey National Bank back in the day.
This might be most familiar to many Burg kids as
something they walked past on the way to school
if they attended Junior Four:)

HI MAC...THAT CLOCK WAS THE BIG ATTRACTION WHEN WE WALKED TO JR.4. THAT LET US KNOW HOW MUCH TIME WE HAD BEFORE BEING LATE. WACHOVIA, WHICH IS NOW WELLS FARGO, IS PROBABLY THE LARGEST BANK IN AMERICA TODAY, BEST REGARDS.

Innocent 1950's fun was taking your rolls of pennies for exchange to the bank on Saturday. Every kid had a coin collection and you took pains to wrap them neatly and went to a different teller each time.
