Mack: Loved Howard Tetter's column and Joe Logue was the sportsman for me.

Most of those later names were syndicated from places like Washington and Chicago. Mike Royko could be pretty funny.

Ken Carolyn was if I recall Trenton's version of the shock jock, he liked to stir the embers. So if Ken didn't get your dander up you could turn on WBUD and get Joe Pine to do it for you.

HI MAC...I WOULD LIKE TO SAY A FEW WORDS ABOUT JOE LOGUE, THE SPORTS WRITTER. HE SPONSORED AND HELPED MY YOUNGER BROTHER "CHUCK" IN MANY WAYS. AFTER PLAYING ON HIS TEAM. "CHUCK" WENT ON TO PLAY WELL WITH THE SCHROTHS, TRENTON HIGH AND WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY. JOE PROVIDED HIM WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVEL0P INTO AN EXCELLEWNT TEAM PLAYER AT A YOUNG AGE. REGARDS.

Hi Joe Skip & Ralph:)
Thank you for the Joe Logue comments. I learn new things all the time from you folks on here and its nice to hear good things about folks of the Burg/Trenton past.
I included the syndicated columnists because they were as much a part of the local paper as syndicated comic strips, syndicated weather reports, and syndicated news reports. I loved Royko too:)
