461 Whittaker Avenue, The Burg
The corner of Whittaker Avenue and Roebling Avenue.
This is a close up:)
Once upon a time this was Pica's Tomato Pies and then
became Schuster's Tomato Pies in my Burg Day:)
This is a new picture taken yesterday.
A Blog about the Chambersburg area of Trenton NJ. The Burg we all loved and miss. If you were from the Burg I hope many of the pictures and lists and comments under them from good folks bring back some nice memories. Villa Park, Franklin Park, South Trenton, and nearby Hamilton also mentioned. Use the search box atop the blog to find schools, churches, streets, stores, bars etc that you remember. Over 4000 posts and 3000 pics. Enjoy:)

HI MAC...I COULD REMEMBER PICA'S VERY WELL. THEIR TOMATO PIES WERE ALMOST AS GOOD AS PAPA'S. REGARDS.
Wasn't this Schuster's Pizza as well, at one time?
Where I took my wife when we started to date. She was from out of town and never had Italian much.
Schuster was German but still made a great pie .... if you left off the mustard .. his signature.
