My favorite place in the Burg! Remains the best deal in town.
Prior to being the Panorama Musicale, it was a cheese store. They used to have great barrels of olives and fragrant cheeses. I believe that the name of the owner was Mr. and Mrs. Falanga. Gosh, I must have been about 5 years old then...LOL. Directly across the street was Joe Ricotta's produce store. Next to the produce store was the Cipullo's penny candy store which also carried school supplies.
In the 60's it was a small grocery store...we went to Immaculate Conception Grammar School and we would buy penny pretzels there at recess...it then became a pizza place.
