Levin Candy, South Clinton Avenue, The Burg
This was Levin Candy Company in my Burg day. A cool
looking triangular shaped building. I am told it
was once a place that sold chickens and had live
chickens on the premisis.

That is correct Mack, my grandmother and I walked there many a Saturdays to buy the Sunday Chicken.
HI MAC....I BELIEVE THAT WAS CALLED MANDEL'S POULTRY STORE, DICK WAS A FRIEND AND SCHOOLMATE DURING THE 30'S.
